REAL LIFE HOVERBOARD

Just imagine if u fly on the skateboard....
Ya this has been a type of magic board that levitates like a magic carpet.
Bendo's hover board can float only one inch above the ground and battery life is only 15 mins.
But this is a good start-up for developing it in future.

DO YOU KNOW???????????????????

"WE ALL HAVE INTEREST TO KNOW SOMETHING NEW SO FOR SOME DAYS WE CAN SEE DID YOU KNOW"
  • The majority of computer users blink 7 times per minute at most, compared to the normal blink rate of 20 blinks  per minute.
  • Email was invented before the web; which means that it has been around longer.
  • The home of Bill Gates was designed with the use of a Macintosh Computer.
  • The original Macintosh case which was created during the year of 1982, contains 47 signatures of the division of Apple’s Macintosh members.
  • Doug Engelhard invented the very first computer mouse which was made out of wood. He created it in 1964.

SPECIAL B'COZ OF LACKING DRINKING WATER

  • Johathan Ritchey has invented the Watermill, which is an atmospheric water generator. It converts air into fresh water.
  • This latest technology invention produces fresh water at a cost of about 3 cents a liter (1 quart).
  •  Originally designed for areas that do not have clean drinking water, the Watermill is for households that prefer an eco-friendly, cost effective alternative to bottled water
  • Atmospheric water generators convert air into water when the temperature of the air becomes saturated with enough water vapor that it begins to condense (dew point).
  • "What is unique about the Watermill is that it has intelligence," says Ritche.
  • This makes the appliance more efficient.
  • It samples the air every 3 minutes to determine the most efficient time to convert the air into water.
  • It will also tell you when to change the carbon filter and will shut itself off if it cannot make pure clean water.
  • "REALLY USEFULL FOR EVERYONE"

Microsoft allows anyone to test "office 2016"

Microsoft is planning to release Office 2016 later this year, but it’s letting anyone test a preview copy a little early. Over at Microsoft’s Connect site you can simply sign-up and acknowledge a non-disclosure agreement to get access to the Office 2016 bits. There’s not a huge amount of new changes from Office 2013, but the next version does include a darker theme and Clippy-like helper.
While Microsoft is also making various other UI tweaks and feature additions, the overall look and feel of Office 2016 will look very similar to Office 2013. Microsoft recently started previewing its touch-optimized versions of Office for Windows 10. The new touch apps are impressively fast, and include basic editing features that are perfect even for mouse and keyboard users. Both Office 2016 and Office for Windows 10 will ship later this year.

Bored up with technical updates :( We can see the working of some famous websites

Today we can see working of BitTorrent.
Before moving on to the working principles some of the frequently used words in torrent are to be discussed.

  1. Peer: peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet to which other clients connect and transfer data. Depending on context, "peer" can refer either to any client in the swarm or more specifically to a downloader, a client that has only parts of the file....
  2. Seed: seed refers to a machine possessing some part of the data. A peer or downloader becomes a seed when it starts uploading the already downloaded content for other peers to download from. This includes any peer possessing 100% of the data or a web seed.
  3. Tracker: tracker is a server that keeps track of which seeds and peers are in the swarm.          Clients report information to the tracker periodically and in exchange, receive information        about other clients to which they can connect. The tracker is not directly involved in the data  transfer and does not have a copy of the file.
  4. Leeches: The term leech also refers to a peer (or peers) that have a negative effect on the swarm by having a very poor share ratio, downloading much more than they upload. Leeches may be on asymmetric Internet connections or do not leave their BitTorrent client open to seed the file after their download has completed. However, some leeches intentionally avoid uploading by using modified clients or excessively limiting their upload speed.
  5. Swarm: Together all peers sharing a torrent is called swarm.

NOW MOVING ON TO WORKING PRINCIPLE,

Unlike some other peer-to-peer downloading methods, BitTorrent is a protocol that offloads some of the file tracking work to a central server (called a tracker). Another difference is that it uses a principle called tit-for-tat. This means that in order to receive files, you have to give them. This solves the problem of leeching. With BitTorrent, the more files you share with others, the faster your downloads are. Finally, to make better use of available Internet bandwidth (the pipeline for data transmission), BitTorrent downloads different pieces of the file you want simultaneously from multiple computers.
Here's how it works:
  • You open a Web page and click on a link for the file you want.
  •   BitTorrent client software communicates with a tracker to find other computers running BitTorrent that have the complete file (seed computers) and those with a portion of the file (peers that are usually in the process of downloading the file).
  •  The tracker identifies the swarm, which is the connected computers that have all or a portion of the file and is in the process of sending or receiving it.
  •  The tracker helps the client software trade pieces of the file you want with other computers in the swarm. Your computer receives multiple pieces of the file simultaneously.
  • If you continue to run the BitTorrent client software after your download is complete, others can receive .torrent files from your computer; your future download rates improve because you are ranked higher in the "tit-for-tat" system.

Downloading pieces of the file at the same time helps solve a common problem with other peer-to-peer download methods. Peers upload at a much slower rate than they download. By downloading multiple pieces at the same time, the overall speed is greatly improved. The more computers involved in the swarm, the faster the file transfer occurs because there are more sources of each piece of the file. For this reason, BitTorrent is especially useful for large, popular files.

THIS IS THE TRENDING TERM AND IT IS "LIFI"

LI-FI is wireless and uses visible light communication or infrared and near ultraviolet(instead of radio frequency waves), part of Optical wireless communications technology, which carries much more information, and has been proposed as a solution to the RF-bandwidth limitations.
LI-FI NETWORK:
A wireless local area network based on Li-Fi technology needs some additional features to provide the same qualities as an RF-based wireless network, without losing the main advantages Li-Fi technology is able to provide. Here are the missing links for a fully developed Li-Fi WLAN.
The Li-Fi room connector
Optical signals are not able to penetrate walls. This is an advantage in relation to security issues. However, in order to provide an optical wireless local area network, rooms need to be connected with each other. This is achieved via the    Li-Fi room connector. The Li-Fi room connector is a replicator which sends the data stream from one side of the wall to the other via an optical fiber cable, which connects the two room connectors on each side of the wall. With smaller rooms, the Li-Fi room connector might be sufficient as the only Li-Fi hotspot in the room.
The Li-Fi router
The Li-Fi router is the network connection to the external link (fiber optic cable, DSL, GigE, etc.). The application is mainly useful for small office or home use with cloud & server functions. It connects office and/or entertainment equipment and covers a radius of 20 meters with a 100 Mbps transmission speed.
